Sorry we can't make the exhibition. But we are Lucky that we are going to be able to make the Sunday gathering.

OK - can confirm that I'll be there and maybe James Michelson from San Diego. A few of you might know him from the Per Joshua tree days.

I would love to but no alcohol allowed. Just cookies and soy milks

Re: 7th Annual Large and Ultra Large Format Meet and Greet

I think I will bring my 11x14 camera with its 810 back. I have 5 holders so that's 10 portraits. I am also going to bring my 5x7 as a backup so everyone will have a picture.

I need a vote for lenses:

I have 360mm, 420mm and 480mm Heliars and also a 19" Petzval (Voigtlander f/4.5, really swirly wide open and a 16" Dallmeyer 3A, much sharper lens than Voigtlander). Some other RR lenses are Goerz 480mm and 600mm f/6 lenses. I can also bring my 460mm Aero-Xenotar if you want to every facial hair you have there.

Let me know what lens you like for your portrait and if one negative if not enough ( you might blink and I might click my Packard shutter when you close your eyes), bring your own loaded 8x10 holder and take the exposed negative home. Develop and print them yourself.

I would love to see the Dallmeyer 3A in action.
    Thanks!
