Was going through a stack of donated film holders in the storeroom of our local museum that I wanted to put out in the camera display. 90% of which were well beyond repair (probably why they were donated). Noticed that there were 4 different types of holders. One of the of holders had no bead or slot at the top of that holder. Top of this generic unlabeled holder was flush and flat. The other holders fell into 3 types. Attached is an illustration from my 1961 Burke & James Catalog of the 3 types of holders. Hopefully this info will be of some help to someone so am passing it on.
