Crown graphic cable release removal from body

I can see the cable release mechanism attached to the inside of the body, but what is the easiest way to get to the screws? Will I need to take off the front standard?

Drill them out.

I've usually managed to unscrew the little knobs that secure the body release and control the front rise. It takes a little force. On something like that, it's good to know when to stop, but hard to explain it.
