Although I normally print 135 in the LPL I also have a Leitz Valloy II, a marvel in function and simplycity of design.

The longer Apo Rodagon are process lenses!
I guess that is why I do not own one

I have one of those and 2 other 35mm enlargers.

Steve read this website, a personal friend.

    Will do.

While on the subject, can the enlarger I bought, be mounted to the wall? I was looking up some stuff and that seems to be a good alternative to mounting directly to the work bench.

And while the one I bought doesn't look like it, some of the literature suggests the head can be rotated 90 degrees for wall projection, yes/no?

The L-138 and the L-184 cameras can be rotated. Not positive about yours but I don’t think so. Most any enlarger can be wall mounted if you go through enough effort. Not a fan of wall mounting.

I am only thinking of wall mounting horizontally projecting to wall for all enlargements, unless I carefully build my dry area to accommodate being able to lower table with enough room for the 32x40 paper. At least till I get a L-138 next year sometime. If I don't wall mount, I will print as larges as I can till I can do 32x40. Practice lots on 8x10, 16x20 type prints till I get this whole thing down.

Do not rule out an 8x10 horizontal enlarger, like a De Vere 810H, if you can find one. I had one for awhile, and it was excellent for large prints.

Really? That would be a first to me. Do as Peter suggested and get a horizontal DeVere, or mount the Durst horizontally on a table.
