What's the max. size easel can fit to saunders 4550xl enlarger?

Please advice if Saunders 20 X 24 or 16 x 20 easel fits to Saunders 4550XL enlarger's baseboard for 20x24 or 16x20 prints?

The answer is provided by the Saunders/LPL owners manual specification. It states that the optical center distance for this model is 14 inches. This is the distance from the vertical face of the upright column to the center of the lens. Therefore the maximum size object that can be fitted is two times this distance = 28 inches front to back distance. Most easels are a little bigger than the largest paper they accept so it might be safe to use a value of optical center 13 inches, which means the maximum paper dimension (front to back) is 2 x 13 = 26 inches. It appears that both easels fit this model.
