Oh me gosh, you got a rare Southern hemisphere edition! I had a ground glass from there and it totally messed me up because the image was not only upright but showed what was behind me. Fish-eyes became telephoto and Leicas performed like Kodak Brownies.

Sounds more like bizarro world, from Superman comics.
Right is left,
Up is down,
Black is white
Bad is good... wait, sometimes bad is good... so confusing.
Etc.

The worst scenario is right on the equator, where half the groundglass image is right side up, and half upside-down.
