This PyroCat seems impossible to get in the UK.

I have found this from a European eBay seller, do this appear to be what I am Looking for Pere

Just get the ingredients and mix it yourself. It isn't difficult and the raw materials should be fairly easy to get shipped to where you are.

In my understanding, Tanol isn't a pyro developer.
    It's a staining developer.

Ian, Steve's work is fine, but because it's out of the bottle - and because it's a fantastic stand developer - I started with Rodinal for stand development.
Seems to work best with ULF xray film.
But you don't get any stain with Rodinal.

Fomapan I gave up ( in general).
Later I will switch to Pyro, just for comparism.

Are you saying that Tanol may not be able to be used for semi-stand the same way Steve uses Pyro HD Ritchie

I haven't say this, but I really don't know the truth.
I only can say that Rodinal is a very good stand developer..

For me, Mr. Moersch seems to be the best source for Tanol questions.
