    Thumbs up TOYO doesn't stink

I've purchased new TOYO filmholders over the past many years, and every one stunk.

They have a very strong plastic/solvent smell, which dissipates very slowly (many months).
This has been discussed here previously.

Well, I just bought some of the new ones with aluminum darkslides, direct from Kumar in Japan.

They don't stink. There's maybe a very slight smell, seemingly associated with the plastic bag.

So I'm a happy shooter. No more focusing with a clothespin on my nose (it hits the groundglass).

If you believe you can, or you believe you can't... you're right.

You must have strong eye sight to focus with a film holder inserted?
