Mounting Ilex #4 Shutter

Please excuse this very basic question, but it has been nearly 40 years since I owned a Kodak Commercial Ektar (Ilex #5) and I can't remember exactly how the shutter mounts to a lensboard. I recently acquired a Kodak 190mm Wide Field Ektar in an Ilex #4 Acme Synchro shutter. I will be mounting the lens to a 6x6 Deardorff lensboard. OK, the most basic of questions:

Does the lens flange ring attach to the front of the lensboard, then the lens screws into the ring?
