I was planning on it, as I have a sister and brother in Springfield.
Attend the conference and visit them (family visit + tax deduction..).
But, now am planning on the Oregon Coast Per Volquartz workshop.

I'd rather be shootin and camping. Now I have to 'splain this to my sibs...

There will be shooting trips from the conference as well. Friday at 9am a group will be leaving to photograph industrial sites in the area and there is a dusk/night shooting session on Saturday evening.

My wife told me I can go to it if I sell enough other photo equipment that I am not using to afford the trip. Ebaying here I come. I am looking forward to learning as much as I can, meeting people and sleeping at whatever cheap hotel I can book. Can't wait.
