Does anybody know the mounting thread size for one of these? I'd like to front mount a nice late one, s/n 828xxx. I didn't see this information in any of the Goerz catalogs on cameraeccentric.com. I did see Ken Lee's recent post about having this done at SKG, but I have a friend with a full machine shop who will do the work for free (well, maybe for root beer).

If your friend has a full machine shop, he can simply measure the lens... no ?
Unfortunately, I don't think there's any rhyme or reason to Goerz mounting threads, at least I've never figured it out. Some had none. Most of mine with "normal" mounting threads were modified by SKG. If your friend has machining capabilities, he should be able to machine something that will screw into whatever your lens has.
Yes, he can measure it. But as I'm piling up favors, anything I can do to make things simpler for him is worth doing. I guess we'll probably just end up measuring...
