This gunite scab is about all that's left of the Lower Elwha dam.
While we're thinking of concrete, here's some from the other side of the Puget Sound. It's the Thomas Parker gun battery at Camp Casey. I was shooting right after Thanksgiving and I needed a place where the hordes of turkey-stunned hikers wouldn't be crowding around.
