List of 8x10 Field Cameras

For those of you who might be in the market for an 8x10 field camera, I created this spreadsheet 2 years ago when I was in the market so I could easily compare cameras. I've updated the prices recently for a friend, so I thought I would post it on the forum.

The list only covers field cameras with a maximum extension no less than 600mm, as I was not interested in any of the wide-angle designs that some camera makers produce. (I also included only the mahogany version of Ebony's 8x10 offerings since everything would be the same except for weight, and I didn't see the point in duplication).

The question is did you sell your house and buy the SU810U?

Nope, it ended up being the RW810. I don't regret it. The only thing I miss is shift.

Nice list for anyone buying an 8x10.

My Shen Hao FCL does have levels on the rear board.

This is amazingly helpful. Thank you very much.

A thought - put it up on Google as a document we can add to, but not modify (if possible).
I could add three more 8x10 cameras, and others probably can as well.

Okay, the spreadsheet is added to Google Docs. Tachihara 8x10 double and triple extension cameras have been added, and the level on the FCL's rear standard has been corrected.

Here's the Google Spreadsheet version if anyone wants to contribute info.

Yea, originally I was only concerned about cameras that were available new from the manufacturer, but I have wavered a bit from that. The Deardorff V8 has been added.
