How do you like working with the Deardorff V11? I missed buying one last year and still have the need to find one. Primarily for portraits. I have Fuji 600mm for my 8x10 and it will cover 11x14.
Had to make a duplicate of this scene, I think I caused a light leak in frame one when removing my darkslide. When I went to insert it back I noticed the film holder wasn’t properly seated in the back. I always run my finger when loading it in to ensure it’s properly seated so perhaps the force of pulling the slide caused the issue. Perhaps I’ll tighten the springs. It’s always something!

Thanks and you did of course post some photos of this lovely guy a month or so ago
Wooden Canham's are imo very easily identifiable from the track bed and base

On the roof in Um el Fahm. As I was setting up today someone called down from one of the nearby buildings. When I told him I was photographing he asked if I wanted to come up to his roof for a better view. An offer no one would refuse, and Ahmed, my host, could not have been nicer or more hospitable. He helped me lug some of my gear up several flights of steps, and fed me and talked as I went about making some really nice images. Couldn't ask for a better day out. The camera is a 717 folmer and schwing, dagor and artar lenses, S&S holders.
