Waiting for the light.
"You only get one shot?!"
"Yes."
20 x 24 Ebony (16 x 20 Reducing back--dumb I know but i did it) Two 20 x 24 AWB Film Holders. Two AWB 16 x 20 Holders. One AWB 20 x 24 Wet Plate Holder
Lenses used: Schneider 550 XXL Fine Art Lens, Dallmeyer 8D, Dallmeyer 30 Inch Rapid Recticulinear, 1000 mm Germinar. I have owned it since 2005. Ebony, Canham, Lotus, and Wisner were the choices when I commissioned it in late 2003. There were several life events that lined up that made the foray possible. Chamonix was not on the scene at least on my radar at the time. I believe in today's market I would absolutely go with the Chamonix. They are well made and beautiful to boot.
The print is a 20 x 24 Gumover Pt/Pd of my son, posted many times before but I don't digitize a lot of these bigger prints so I repeat. I hope those that have seen it don't find it offensive to repost. He is off to college these days!!
