Broken Camera Bag Buckle? Nifty fix.

I had a camera bag with a broken buckle. I could have sent it back in to the manufacturer (well out of warranty) or take it maybe to a luggage repair place. But I found these at REI over Christmas. It took five minutes-they work like charm and the bag is working good as new!Click image for larger version.

    REI is the best.

I have an old 35mm waist bag and I worry about the 20 year old buckle. I will replace with this.

My buckle looks just like your broken one...

    Kirk,
Thanks for posting this. JB & I just returned from Utah and while out there one of my 4x10 backpacks had a buckle break. I did a temporary fix while on the road. Just ordered one of these to replace the buckle since it is in a place on the backpack which would not have been easy to fix.
