    Heiland Splitgrade controller

    i have a problem here..
the "problem" is with the probe on the Heiland contoller.
the sensor on the probe is covered with a green (i think)plastic, and this plastic from the outside looked like it had something like fog on it,as if a glue or chemical would have damaged it.i can open it(im an outlaw) take out the small plasic, and i see, indeed, some fog,or something is presant there..
i would like to replace it,but have no idea with what..
does someone here have an idea?
would like to use it as a densitometer for my Zone film test, and would like to have it accurate, but i think with this fog its damaged..
as an alternative solution to test,if someone has a densitometer, and would have a Kodak projection print scale, could He/She measure some of thiese "steps" with the meter,so like this i could know if its still accurate(but i guess its not)
    Any idea is welcome!
    Thanks in advance!
