Diafine - Shelf Life of Stock Solution

    Hi all,

I've got a batch of Diafine that I mixed as a stock solution about 4-5 months ago. It's been stored at room temp in standard brown bottles, mostly in the dark.

I'm ready to use Diafine again and was curious if anyone knows how long a stock solution is good for? The box says it is "unusually stable and has a long shelf life".

I don't know what that means, though.

I have almost 3 liters each of A & B should I give it a go or should I just mix a new batch?

    Wisdom???

    Thanks,
    Jim

At least a year. Probably two.

Thanks, Bill. That's what I wanted to hear.

Gonna try and shoot some Efke positive paper for the 1st time tomorrow and wanted to use the Diafine as the developer. Should be fun.

In my experience, it lasts longer than you feel comfortable using it. I used to dump it even though it was working, because I could not accept that it could possibly keep going!
