Anyone know of a maker or dealer who would have an adapter lensboard that takes Technika III lensboards so they can be used on a 5x7 Burke & James without having to re-mount the lenses?
A friend has one and is not sure where to look. Hoping to find one before he has to visit a machinst to have one made.
I imaging that SK Grimes would make one for you.
It may be quicker to have one made locally, however it would be tough to beat their quality.

I have both systems, and would love an adapter myself. However my wallet is saying that it can't happen at this time.
Perhaps you could find a junk Tech III, scavenge the front standard and mount it to the front of a B&J board. I made a couple of Graphic-to-Toyo 4x5 monorail boards that way.
Which B&J? My flatbed 5x7 takes 5.25" boards, my monorail B&J takes the near standard 4" boards. I made adaptors for the former and for the 6" standards of an 8x10 camera from Masonite. It's even easier to build them up from fairly narrow strips of wood or plywood.
