    Need Help with 8x10 rebuild

I'm trying to rebuild an 8x10 that was in a flood. It wasn't marked but I believe it is an Ansco, looks very similar to an Ansco 4x5 I've rebuilt in the past. Most of the metal hardware I have is nickel plated. The rails on the extensions are brass. I've been able to find one set of nickel rails for the extension but still need another set (about 11" long).

Does anyone know of a source for Ansco parts?

I have a lot of wooden Ansco parts in battleship grey if anyone has a need. Most are in excellent shape.

If you can't find those parts, DIY shouldn't be that hard... Brass strip stock would be easy to work, and you can nickel plate at home, or send it out...

Or, make new strips from Stainless Steel for the entire bed + rails, and finish them duller to match the age... (That's what I would do...)

Thanks Steve, I'll give the nickel plate at home a try. I have the kit and the brass. Just haven't done a piece this large.
