Hi,
I have a problem using search. When I type in a word, let's take xenar, I get tons of results. But what I look for (in that case information on Xenar lenses) I can't find. How can I find using the search?
Thanks
Andreas

Click on Advanced Search (just below the regular search window).
If you use the main search box, you will get threads that have "xenar" mentioned anywhere - for example, a pages-long image-sharing thread where someone happens to mention that they used a Xenar. To follow up on Jac's point, using advanced search you can limit the search to, for example, threads that have "xenar" in the title. Then you may miss some threads that have information of interest, but at least the ones you see will be much more likely to be relevant.
Also: welcome to the Forum!
You can use google to search instead if you put in the site. For example, go to google and put in "Xenar site:largeformatphotography.info", without the quotation marks.

Thanks for the hints. If I like to look for everything on Tele Xenar with 240mm the google way works for me but not the advanced search.
Yes, Google will often work better. The behavior of the vBulletin search engine is often perplexing. Hope you were able to find what you needed...
Unfortunately I don't know if anyone else has noticed an issue but google is doing their "mobile compatible websites get priority" in searches now, and since the site though partially mobile friendly, I don't believe it "counts" as fully mobile friendly won't get priority over other places now if searching on a movie browser.
I wish as a google user I could turn that off but I don't see where I can.
