I just acquire a X-Rite 820 densitometer but don't know how it could assist me in printing Ilfochrome Classic Delxue paper. I mean if it could help me in adjusting the color balance of the final print.

Might be better to get an analyzer. Mine includes a built in densitomer that gets used to help program the unit. The only idea I have at the moment with a stand alone is if you knew the print should contain a known colour. I'm not sure how often that will happen. Maybe if you included a grey card on every negative?

This is best accomplished through a good book and actual pratice rather than a densitometer.
