    5X7 Point and shoot

A few years ago I made a 5X7 P&S. The back is from an old Keith camera which was cut down in size. The front standard is 1/2" birch plywood.
Lens: 135mm Kodak Ektar Wide Field on a focus mount from China. The camera body except for the front and rear standards is aluminum covered with vinyl. The wood is painted glossy black. The camera is not quite finished. I plan to replace the ground glass with a clip to hold a film holder in place.

This is my first try at uploading photos.Click image for larger version.

Good job. I need to do this.

    Is your finder from Israel?

It looks familiar, but can't quite place it.

Looks like one of the earlier Cosina/Voigtlander plastic-bodied finders.

You are correct. For a 28mm lens in 35mm photography.

It's great but I still want an extension back for the TravelWide. See this thread: http://www.largeformatphotography.in...mera-Daydreams for more information. Ben posted that it seems doable, if we can get about 100 people to support the effort.
