    Where To Get Photos Developed

I'm sure I am like many of you in which for one reason or another I don't print my images at home. I was just curious where people go to get their photos developed.

Some of the places I use include

    - adorama.com ~ they occasionally have $1.00 8x10 Sales and $2.00 11x14 Sales
    - Costco ~ Consistent prices
    - www.laxphotolab.com ~ $.49 8x10's and $1.50 11x14. They ship Priority Mail Same day.

A place like Lax Photo Lab I consider somewhat of a hidden gem because its just a local spot in LA. Was curious to see if anyone else had anything similar near them.

i use a lab down the road from me.
she is a small one person operation and does beautiful work.
i used to mail out to whcc, but the past few years have stayed close to home.
she's printed small as well as large images, and almost a year ago, she printed a whole show for me.
    can't complain ...

What are your priorities: price, quality, or speed. It is diffficult to get all 3 these days. I get best results overall from Darkroom.com in San Clemente California.

Are you looking to print digital files or from a negative/trans?
Film, the consistent file format for over a century.

Chicago had and maybe will have again this guy.

His move is taking far too long.

Great quick service, up to 11x14. Color only.

I take mine to Foto Fayer in Vienna www.fayer.at, whenever I am on a business trip. Drop them in their mailbox before 8 a.m., pick up in the afternoon. The wait between trips helps me find a bit more critical distance towards the pictures.

Central Camera in downtown Chicago takes in film for processing. I never use them as I do my own B&W and C41 35 mm at Costco. I hope my Chicago color sheet film guy reopens this year...He was fast, 2 hours if you timed it all correctly.
