I had tried aligning this enlarger several times using bubble levels, and squares, with limited success. I have a specific print I really like, and no way could get it to 11x14 w/o one side being noticeably out of focus. I looked around and saw that the Versalab laser tool was popular. But a used one sold at B&H for $149. Flea bay ones were being snapped up at over $100. Fortunately I came upon the large format university page. The bosch GPL3T laser level. Bought one for $67, and printed today. What an amazing difference! My negative stage was zigged, and my lens stage was zagged. I now was able to print that image at 11x14. I can go no larger with it however because of the Mamiya lens limitations. An excellent way to get alignment right. Thanks LFP.
