OK, how much burning and dodging did you do on this one?
I have tried for years to get this even of an exposure whist shooting into the sun.
    Very nice.

    Is that Mono/June Lake(s)?
    Regards

Thanks, Jim. Awesome picture, vinny! I don't know how vinny did it but I use a 2 bath hc110 thing similar to what Bruce Barnbaum wrote about: one at dil B for about a minute, then stand at a dil of 1:250 for about 1hr. Or I cheat and use a GND filter. This one was the 2 bath method:

Not much. I think I had an orange filter on and the pentax smc coatings are pretty good which helps. I think this cabin is just north of the june lake loop exit, I forget.

    Rory, that's another killer shot!

Been a while since I've watched it but it reminds me of the scene in Vanishing Point where Kowalski meets up with the woman on the motorcycle.

That distraction aside, it's nicely seen with the clouds and sun. I like seeing the sun in photos.

    Hi Vinny,

Do you remember how the sun flare on this pic was handled? Is it a cross-screen filter?

    Thanks,

    Renato

This most closely resembles how my eyes see. I wish I could duplicate this effect!!
