Thanks Renato. I've always liked this corner. It's always seemed outside-of-time to me, though I hear that they're going to renovate the passport business there. I think I photographed it just in time.

Thanks Merg. It's been awhile. I hope all is well with you and your own endeavors. As for rain, I wish we had some to send; it's been almost summer-like up here lately. Best to you as well, Austin

Watch out Austin, a friend and Oregon native almost convinced me tonight to move to Portland...

    I was not drunk.

We Midwesterner's get real goofy as soon as it warms up, it hit 55 today. I'm balmy.

Two 6x12 negatives contact print. Sinar F, Nikkor 75/4.5, Ilford FP4+, Rodinal 1:100 stand 1 hour (inversions at 20m intervals). Double coated Van Dyke Brown with 4% tartaric acid and 2 drops 2% ammonium dichromate per ml, 0.5ml per coating layer. Exposed ca. 6 minutes @ 15cm with a Philips face tanner.

It's a predecessor to the current hb175 model. 4x15W cfl tanning lamp with a mechanical timer. Fine for anything up to 8x10. I use it for cyanotype, van dyke and carbon transfer. Bought it second hand for about 13€.
