Great sense of place though... I could tell it was MA before I even looked at your name/location! Great time to get some hikes in.

    Love those tones Austin!

    +1 Austin!
Thanks JP. Here’s another in the same spot. This was the old route across the Taconic Range, and probably would have been clear cut and overrun with sheep in the 19th century.

I hear you on that. I had some some too. And I think I also had every Rollei Retro 80S problem as well. A misallocated hole in the backing paper over a frame, new backing paper text showing up on your image and old fiber backing paper sticking to the film creating "fuzzy patches".

    Nice woodland scenes.

Thanks Tuco. I’ve enjoyed your recent contributions to this thread.

I had the same problem with Kodak, so I thought I was safe sticking with Ilford.... At some point I will make an inventory of all the problem rolls and report to Ilford. I do want to shoot medium format, especially for hiking, but this is very discouraging.

I so enjoy nearly every photograph you post, Austin. I really think you should write a book and/or do a workshop on "How to Compose in the Square Format." You do it SO well!!

I second that suggestion. And I would buy the book.
