When I was there in 2000 we went to 5 pm Mass. They kick the paying tourists out and let worshipers in for free. So few attended they sat us in the choir box. It was January.
A magnicent cathedral, really glad I attended Mass. I seek out big pipe organ equipped buildings wherever I go. Afternoon practice can be very good.
Really a pity many are disappearing. They are good gathering halls.
