No filtering at all. The sky was "foggy bright" which accounts for the look. I was also drawn to the lake, but more to the shadows created by the bushes in the lake, and the strings (pearls) of water hanging on the branches, as shown here. Unfortunately, hand holding the Hasselblad under those conditions resulted in "not quite what I had hoped for" in this shot.

I enjoyed the discussion about shapes Jonathan saw in my photo of my two girls, and of course I have to do something a little less subtle, but it's a nice mix of shapes and tones and continues the near-far relationship some too.
