Dark and foreboding. I like it, Austin.

Here's one more print scan from this weekend's printing from a favorite I took in Atlanta last year.

Rolleiflex K4/50 w/ 7.5cm Tessar, Tri-X developed in Rodinal 1:50, Ilford MGIV dev'd in Dektol:

Was really impressed by how easy these Tri-X/Rodinal negatives were to print. Enhanced grain from the Rodinal make them extremely sharp looking. The lower contrast on the older Rolleiflex Tessar made the shadows full. All this is typical but more obvious in the darkroom.

    Bryan,

Just love the lines and geometry of your Atlanta image. It looks like you were very careful with camera position which IMO brings the whole entire together. My only comment--and I don't know if there was anything you could have done--but I would prefer if the light canister just above the top bar of the central right light post had just a little breathing room between it and the bar. A very minor nitpick to be sure. Lovely image!! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Alan! I am with you, that is the only thing that irked me a bit. I would've liked the line of canisters to center on the light pole but I didn't quite get it, and might've thrown off the left pole centered in the "window." I was thinking I should go back here, perhaps with a model on the lit steps in a dark outfit to keep the light/dark theme going, though I'm not much of a posed portrait kinda guy. It was fun being in downtown Atlanta early on a Wednesday morning with not a soul in sight.

A couple of weeks ago, I had my family in from Vermont and my son and daughter took us to a ball game. My Fuji 6x9 was about the biggest camera my hands could handle. Here is on of my favorites from the trip.
