Thanks Serge! I've tried a couple different Pro-Mist filters. A rather well-known YouTuber talks about them on occasion, but I think in the lower, 1/4 strength, which stay expensive. The higher strengths like my 3 filter are easy to find cheap - I think I got this B60 one for like $10 on eBay. The 1/4 strength does nicely lift the shadows in high-contrast situations without the "glow" like above - I have one of those as well and have used it on 4x5 a few times.
Speaking of pro-mist filters there are 2 flavors from Tiffen: Pro-mist , Black Pro-mist and also each may be combined with a Warming coating.
Black Pro-mist is intended to preserve the darkness of dark tones, while a regular Pro-mist may reduce or soften the contrast in dark tones.
The price is dependant on popularity, where 1/4th seems to be amongst the most popular ones and I tend to agree to that (1/8th is too weak). But smaller sizes are priced reasonably enough ~USD 50.

Very nice FishyFishArcade ! The Fujica GW690 seems to do a quite good job.
