    Agreed about the stonework. Really cool both architecturally and photographically.

    Are you sure you didn't crop off the 'B' in that second one, Bryan? Older tombstones are really interesting. These new ones are engraving BW pictures on them or something.

    Nope no B on that one .
    That gravestone, especially with the short DOF, has a real window-like quality. Strange, and almost a little creepy in its own way. What's next, a video screen and home movies?

    Very nice well-balance and interest composition, Austin. I think that's the best image of Easter Island statues I've seen.

    Side note: I wonder if anyone has investigated what might be buried underneath those stone heads.

    The statues are actually full-figure, down to the hips/thighs.

    I've often wanted to try some BW on those Easter Island statues. It's really cool you made it there and did it.
