    The first one is an old train track that has been converted to a pedestrian foot path. It has been repaired since this photo.

    Holliwell covered bridge, near Winterset, IA. 500c/m, 60mm, Trix w. yellow filter, remote flash in bridge.

    Nice effect, John. The bridge's structure is different than the covered bridges I've seen around here in the Pacific NW.

    Thanks. There are backbone planks along the top of each side that are 4"x16" by 48 feet. They worked with some huge lumber! It takes several minutes of staring at the triangulations to absorb the full structure.
