That's funny - I took one with her head straight and then asked her to tilt it like so and smile a bit...

    Now, for change of pace...
Notice carefully (if you can) that London's The Photographers' Gallery is right next door...

Did some serious hiking yesterday with my full 4x5 kit as well as 6x12 back and some other stuff. Was really tired/sore when I got home late last night but woke up first thing this morning to do some developing.

This is Lula Lake Falls, which is on private land opened up only twice a month. The falls, rocks, and trees don't look like GA. I got there first thing in the morning and the area in front of the falls was completely frozen over from the mists of the waterfall. It was really hard to get close to the falls as I do not have the proper footwear to walk on slick ice. I was excited about this composition and am very happy with this negative.

Now I need to get back to work on the 16 sheets of 4x5 I shot......

Definitely looks like a place to have some Kahtoola Microspikes handy--they've become a necessary piece of kit for me on our high country "seeps" this time of year (especially since it seems Father Time has eroded what ever catlike reflexes I might have had...)

Otherwise, a lovely scene--all things considered, what size prints are you looking to get from your 120 work?

That's exactly the product I was looking at a few weeks ago when I tried to hike on the Appalachian Trail after some snow and it was way too icy to walk. I will definitely need to pick some up for next winter...

Thanks! Usually I don't like to go over 5x for darkroom enlargements, as it starts to fall apart at that point. I'll probably cut some of my 16x20 paper up in half and make ~8x16 enlargements from this.

I've had these Kahtoola MICROspikes for several years now. They have done well. But I've heard they are being made with thinner rubber now.

Yeah I read some reviews saying older ones were made better...dang. Such is the way of the world in manufacturing unfortunately .
