    Congratulations for the fine images in a location that one imagines must more than 500 yards from the parking lot.
    A small gripe. As much as I understand the need to protect the highlights, I feel you are too conservative in that respect. See below the histogram of the image. Independent from browser, screen, etc. Your image as seen might benefit from using fully the output dynamic range.

    Those are great, Jim! I'm glad it wasn't just me who got turned around in Bisti. Even without GPS or a compass, I was sure I knew how to get to the area where the "famous" formations were but boy, was I wrong. In hindsight, maybe it was for the best, as being lost made me look at what I did find with fresh eyes. Of course, I'd love to go back and have another go at it.
