Willie: Obviously I didn't research the Indian Lake theme well enough, but thanks for the link to the Cowsill's performance of "Indian Lake.". Here's a final image from the trip. 40mm Distagon and TriX, no filter.

I like the last one there, John. There was 4-straight days of long, foggy conditions. It was both a change of pace from the rain and fun while it lasted.

Thanks, John. I've been bringing my exposed film to a local lab (Citizens Photo in Portland) for some time now. I haven't had many problems with uneven skies. I do get some dust spots here and there, but as I'm partially digital at this point (scanning and printing), it's an easy fix. I appreciate the kind offer though.
I've run across Clift's work here and there, it's terrific!
Thanks again.
Austin...my daughter and her husband just bought a house north of Portland...in southern Washington State...close to Ridgefield I think (they're both tech nerds previously living in San Jose but needed to get out of Silicon Valley). I will likely visit sometime soon and plan to head for the coast to make some photographs. At any rate...I gather that you live in this area and I'd love to drop by if this would work for you.

My wife and I are originally from the SF Bay Area. There has been a huge northward migration over the past decade or so (we moved to Oregon in 2008).
I'd be great to get together for a beer or a coffee. Let me know when you're visiting and we'll work out the logistics. As I'm sure you know, there are some incredible places along the Oregon/Washington coast.
I might as well post a picture while I'm here. :-)

A few taken in 2017 at "Uriage Cabriolet Classic". Kodak 400TX. Mamiya C220, 80mm, tripod, paramender. The use of the paramender brings (I guess) the MF experience closer to LF.
