What is your favorite 4 x 5 film ( and recipe ) using Rollo Pyro in jobo reels with a Unicolor Base. I'm particularly interested in Kodak TMAX 400, Kodak TRI-X and Ilford HP5.

You have this backward. Find a film you like and then a developer..
Nice way to welcome the noob.
I don't use Rollo Pyro, but I suggest you buy small quantities of different films, shoot the same scene with all films, bracket at normal, +1 stop and -1 stop.
Develop all the test sheets together using a Rollo recipe you find online and compare the results.
When you have the results in your hand, you'll be able to ask more precise questions about different recipes and methods of developing and exposure, and you'll receive much better answers, too.
I do not know, but the 'worst' film for me was Berger 200. Lots of non-staining image on the non-emulsion side. But it was a long time ago when a post-development staining bath was recommended (no longer is). I had much better results with Tri-X in Rollo Pyro (Expert Drum, 3005).
I have good luck with both Delta 100 and Acros.
