Love the country store, Bryan. Love the US flag tacked to the side.

A different rural scene of an early stone wall, circa 1720 or so, with November dried grass. I was doing a series on stone walls and at this location I was intrigued with the patterns in the grass. Sherborn MA. November 2005.

Beautiful, Nate! Love the depth of field.
Another different view of the rural scene. Image of David Bradley with his horses and manure wagon on his farm in Gouldsboro ME. Sadly the barn burned flat a couple of years ago and he lost his animals in the fire. Local residents contributed time, money, and material to rebuild the barn so he could continue to produce and sell organic vegetables on site.

Great topic and great thread.
Abandon for may years when I found it in the early 70's. Shot with my 8x10 Deardorff and B&L triple convertible Protar. Cruso trading post was in Cruso NC on Highway 25 if I remember correctly. I made many journeys back to photograph it. In the mid 70's I made a trip back and it had been stripped of all of it's relics. I haven't been back in years and imagine the building is totally gone.
The second image was Greenways store in Centerville TN. Centerville is a cross road in the middle of no where. Shot in the mid 70's on my Deardorff 8x10 and 12" B&L Protar series VIIa, I think.
The interior was of Greenways Store shot in the late 70's with my Sinar Norm 5x7 and 121 Super Angulon on Royal Pan processed in HC110B.

Love the shots, Don, particularly the first one.
When I was a sprout, the grocery store (there was only one) had a hand-pump/gravity-feed gas pump just like that.
