Thumbs up In praise of THINKTANK

If it's good, it must be said; if it's VERY good, I gladly put it on a forum:

I have a Thinktank Retrospective 30, very pleased with it, BUT it developed a small problem at the strap: the stitch came loose on a length of about 2 cm, and I suppose it will go further; have a look at the picture:

I contacted the people at Thinktank USA (IIRC) last Wednesday (May 1st), on Friday 3th I received a mail from the local distributor in the Netherlands, and today, Tuesday May 7th, I received a brand new Retrospective 30 !

Note: I bought it from the Internet, not locally, and I can keep the defective bag !

    That's what I call a great service !

    Stefan.

That is good service from the distributor (Plasmans I reckon) indeed! You must be very happy ;-)

I love ThinkTank as well. I have their Retrospective 30 & 5 and the Airport TakeOff. First class material and well thought-out designs. Enjoy your bag!

Big +1 from me on Think Tank quality (haven't had need for Customer Service yet). I bought a Sling-o-Matic 20 as an alternative to a backpack for a 4x5 kit and it's an excellent bag! Well built, well designed and every little detail has been looked after. This is my first Think Tank bag, but will certainly not be my last!

Everything I've heard from anyone I know about their customer service has been exemplary. Have had no need to contact them myself yet, but their products are great and they really seem to take great care of their customers.

I own a Streetwalker Pro and it's been a great bad since day one. Think Tank is definitely my first choice when it comes to bags.

I've been using the Airport Takeoff for my Technikardan, lenses, filmholders and accessories. It's a great bag, it has wheels for when you can use them and backpack straps for places where the wheels won't work. It seems to be made really well and thankfully I haven't had to use customer service yet, but I've heard from a few friends that they really stand behind their products.

It's nice to see a company doing things right.

+1 as well. I own various models for 35mm, DSLRs, Mf, and LF, ranging from a small Retrospective 5 all the way up to a large rolling case. The designs are perfect and their customer support is nothing more than excellent.

    Cheers
