    7x17 metal edge storage

A few years back I purchased some grey metal edge boxes for 7x17 negative storage. Can not remember the name of the company who made these perfect sized 8x18x2" drop front boxes. Anyone recall being involved with this group order?

    Thanks!

    Steve,

I suspect that the company you purchased from is Hollinger Metal Edge.

Hollinger has a wide offering of archival materials and has become my preferred source for such materials.

    HI Sandy,

I have purchased other boxes from Hollinger and have their catalog, unfortunately they do not have the box that I purchased a few years back, seems to me someone put a group order together and I took advantage of it and now need more of the same. Thx, SS

I order these boxes with some frequency from Hollinger. Their catalog even has a special section for ULF. Have you looked there?

    Thanks Jim,
The only "banquet" size they list online is the 12x24 box. I will call them tomorrow as I get a Hollinger catalog in the mail every now and then. Likely the place I bought them just can't remember.

    Thx, cheers!

I just ordered a few 7X17X2 boxes (#ULF717HT-A) from them, see ULF boxes
The tan colored boxes are on clearance sale.

Thanks very much Doug, I did speak them today and they referenced my order from a few years ago and did in fact give me a stock # for the grey 2" box, I ordered enough to get a decent discount. However, they did not tell me of the sale on the Tan colored boxes.

Oh well, just happy to have found the source.

    Again, thanks, Steve Sherman
