I just bought this lens:

I probably paid too much, but I've been looking for a big early landscape lens for quite a while. Does anyone have any information about the maker, L. Puech of Place de la Madeleine 21 Paris? I've found passing mentions of him as far back as 1851 and '52 in The Chemist, again in 1867 in the British Journal of Photography, and as a distributer of Dallmeyer lenses through the 1880's. Can anyone tell me anything more about L. Puech or the lens?
Also, there's a stylized "AB" logo inside the lenscap (see below) that looks familiar, but I can't place it. Anyone?
It's a longshot, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks muchly!
