Another eclipse photo. 4.5 hour exposure. Taken with my Linhof Master Technika and 75mm Biogon, on Portra 160 VC but converted to b&w (should've just shot this on b&w film, I wanted more of an abstract image and the red didn't come out on this one).
A bit flarey, not sure if that was my lens and the moon interacting or some of the cars driving by hitting the element of the lens pointed almost straight up. I forgot to put on a hood...don't really think about such things at night usually! And I have no idea how the "swoop" in the start happened. I was using an old junky tripod since I was shooting 3 cameras at once, so I think possibly the tripod drifted for the first 30 minutes or so very very slowly and smoothly. I like it, anyway.
