    That's very nicely done, Jaymus. I like the balance created by the light pole being off center while the light areas it casts are similarly asymetic. Somehow it makes the whole thing feel stable but interesting at the same time.

    Thanks! The more Iook at it, the more I want to go back and burn in some of those darker areas, which might improve the composition overall.

    Thanks Angus and Jaymus! The light streak was a plane flying thru, I tried to look on the FlightTracker app to determine what flight and destination it was, but wasn't able to get cell phone reception where I taking the shot.

    Rory, the shot was taken around 9pm at night and exposed for about an hour, about 1.5 hours after sunset. Unfortunately the star trails didn't come out as bright as I had hoped, the quarter moon lit up the night sky more than I anticipated.
