Nede,
The black glass sure has the maximum dmax. However you might have to try difference collodion recipe for each color glass that you are working with, in order to see what suit best for your images . You might have to tweak the recipe a little in order to control the contrast and exposure time. Like any other process , you have to custom tailored your recipe according to your home base condition and your workflow. PM me if you have any questions.
Thank you, I have still to understand what each chemical does in the process
(here we can no longer find cadmium salts) Now I only play with my developer recipe.
Thank you for your help
This one is my all time favourite (humm well from my starting point this summer )
4x5 clear glass
Just wow! This is amazing, I like both the water one and this one, but this one looks like you really took your time when the setup and focus, very AWESOME lucky girls, I really want to get into plate work, but it seems expensive and I want to go the least poisonous and least expensive but still beautiful route, this style fits me but also looks to be the Petzval rout which I don't have just yet as I particularly want one for 4x5 that has a copal-3 shutter
Anyway just fantastic!
You rock Nede.
thank you Jody_S is it really disturbing?
