I don't think I've ever seen anybody present a double-exposed wet plate.

Tri,
This is a very nice clean plate and I love her expression as well. When can we see some 20x24 plates?
Just as an aside, I noticed Duane Michals has a current gallery showing of his new wet plate work:

From the press release:
Each 19th-century image is playfully rejuvenated by the addition of vibrant color and the artist’s witty allusions to visionaries such as Picasso and Picabia. In this way, Michals draws our attention to the discrepancy between a popular medium that required little skill—the tintype—and the work of the most influential artists of the 20th century.

Mark, thanks for the link and info. After I checked the link I realized how people likes to see things differently now. For example ... I made 6 plates yesterday with my daughter and 5 are rejected to my standard, although she loves them all except the one I have chosen . She thinks they are cool because the unsual artifacts, uneven developed ...etc...and finally she kept them all. I don't quite get it but anyway bottom line is our job to make them happy right?
Hugo, I'm working on it . I ordered the 20x24 aluminum plates from a local store, they came in but everything cut down to 12x24 instead of the full size. I have no idea why they did that so my guess they want to save the shipping cost , otherwise I have something to show you this weekend. I have cutted out a few 20x24 glass but I need an assistance because it is a little scary when loading and unloading at one hand with a huge piece of glass.
DP, you ratted me out. It was more like "get off of my Cactus!"
Tri, 20x24 ambrotypes! Oh my my friend. Wet plate madness I can see it now!
