I have an 8x10 Saltzman enlarger that is going to the junk yard if no one picks it up from my place in New York City.

There is a condenser head and an arista soft light head without a tube.
The condensers alone are worth good money. Very hard to come by. The Arista soft head is a bit awkward with it, but still worth some money. You might consider selling each separately.
I have the original condensers. They are beautiful. Still looking for something other than a soft light head.
Very best of luck to you. Seriously. I hate to see a Saltzman fade away to obscurity. They are still the best.
EDIT - if your enlarger is the one on the Bay, then it has no condensers. Too bad.
The cap on top of the column is usually missing. Sell it. The negative carrier is worth selling, although there have been two in the past few years that did not sell for $200 +. Be realistic, part it out. The rubber bumpers on the head lift are also usually missing or crisp with age. Sell them. The hand wheels are, unfortunately, still standard US part sizes, as are most of the other parts.

I'm very interested, but concerned about fitting it in my place. Can I come by and see it? In Manhattan. If I can't, I know at least two other people who would also be interested (one of whom still hand coats plates). Please PM me here or email me at adam@lipstadt.com
At least this got me to stop lurking and register. Thanks. :-)
There were a few Saltzman 8x10 enlargers and all are HUGE! Mine is about 14' tall and (guessing) about 900 pounds with stand.
This has got to be the largest I've encountered. http://www.aardenburg-imaging.com/im..._S3-02(rw).jpg
