I have the 4x5" and 8x10". I mounted the 8x10 upper part on the back standard of the 4x5." That combination cannot be aligned, the front standard can not be set high enough. So you have a down shift...
E-bay from trusted shops, mostly German shops, I live in the Netherlands, direct neighbours
I put once Polaroid film in the freezer, that definitely wasn't a bright idea
Totally understand the feelings, good for you could do what you did. I was declared terminal when I was 33. When it was clear that I could survive, I threw away a lot too, I didn't want anything...
Thanks John!

The Nikon 240mm is vignette free to infinity for 8x10" I often use it.
I'll follow up on this, when I get home later this day. I have the special front bearer (P2), which is longer than the standard bearer.

Vericolor III Linhof Technika 4x5" Angulon 90 mm
Having ended my professional activities, I have no more use for the 36x60" prints, so 8x10" gets less use.
I now have time to walk in rough terrain, then I take the 4x5" Linhof Technika.

That's why this site is called: Large format photography forum
Which is true on a Ferrari forum and a lot of other forums on specific makes and models of camera's.
Great addition Corran! Love these circular images. Make them often with the Mamiya Fish Eye.
Really love this tuco!

Thought also that a SC was easier in the terrain, but I was mistaken. It's bulkier than a field camera, I use a Linhof Technika for outdoors (90mm and 150mm).
Much faster to set up, I never needed...
I thought you posted a movie, for me the clouds are moving too! What a great image is this! It's it's on a wall, very large, you are completely lost, almost psychedelic.
Love the reflection! It's if two arms embrace a piece of the water.
is thread shows it clearly: times flies! I was 47 when reacted before, now I'm 67. My life has vastly changed. But I still shoot LF and medium format film.
Love these simongg ! These subjects are really suited for this format.
I've scanned the lot, but that only makes the question: what will happen to that?
My commercial work, my customers have had them already. Just my copies.
My family never showed interest in what I...
That's a great collection of lenses for a someone starting in LF.

I use the Sekonic 508. Zoom spot. I use it also in the studio as a flash meter, or an incident light meter.
I value the monorail and the precise and fast work I can do with it. I have an excellent transport case for my Sinar P2, in both 4x5" and 8x10".
As long as my body allows it, I carry them outdoors...
That is exactly how Wikipedia sees it. Most interesting from the OP: there not a specific reference to a camera or a film format. From there it wandered from apples to pears.
I do like the result, and if it works, good job!
Only 4x5" and 8x10" both Sinar P2 left over from the era they brought in money. I have also a Linhof Technika 4x5" that's older than I am.
I do shoot 4x10" with the half slide method, but not that...
In the Netherlands it's all very easy, it's not possible to find a landscape that is untouched by humans, past or present. Our country is that small, that every corner is or has been used by man.
Beautiful mr. Alvandi!
This is such a fine memory for me, having been 5 years to a school in the Swiss Alps. That distant blue... the thing in the foreground, I can not guess what that is, but it's a nice touch for the...
In rough terrain, backpacking, I take 5 holders (4x5"), I fill my holder always with the complete pack of film (Portra, Ektar).
8x10" I don't wander far from the car, so I take more with me in the...
Far beyond my capabilities, so I'm forced to buy them. But I needed to do that only once, for I bought my lenses already mounted on a lens board.
You get the choice on Safari to log in unsafe. Last version, OS Monterey
As long as I shoot 8x10, on Vericolor, VHC, Ektachrome, Ektar, Portra almost all Kodak films, there's never a confusion. I use Lisco Regal and Fidelity Elite holders, and I can't fit two films...
Traded a Mamiya 645 for a Cambo 8x10". The bellows were made light tight with isolation tape. But worse, I got all kinds of weird partly unsharp images when I used tilt or swing. The thin rail (as in...
