Found mine......102781
Luis, you may not remember but several years ago you just gave me a lens board that I needed to get my DeVere 5108 going. Time to repay your kindness! I have two of these rubber clips I would be...
I bought some of their film holders. The 4x10 ones leaked so I returned them. The 11x14 holders leaked also but I was able to fix them, it was a pain n the butt though.

Funny, just last night as I always do when using the bathroom,. I grab an old issue of View Camera magazine. In this one was an article by Bruce about his first impression of Richard Ritters new 8x10...
Hang in there Carol. Wishing you only the best.........

My front cell is secured to the shutter by 3 set screws. I am not going to mess with those!

Here is the locking ring for this lens.

I think this is an earlier version of this lens. Later models came with a #0 shutter.
I have that same lens and it took a 2" hole in the lens board to mount it.184080
Welcome to the world of large format!
Read #2 post!
it moves the filters out of the light path. I use it as a white light knob for focusing.

Kumar is very knowledgeable of the Rittreckview cameras. Perhaps he can help.
I've used a hair dryer to heat the step ring with success.

I think they are 6x6 with square corners?

Mine, which I got from Louis, will rise 2" and fall 1" before it binds up although in use you could never shift it that far as the rear element of the lens would hit the interior of the camera.

I put a 1/4"-20 threaded insert at the end of the rail so I can use this stabilizer. It is very stable.
Mine measures 16 1/2" from film plane to end of rail. I am able to rack the front standard one inch past that point without going off the rail.
I am able to use my Fujinon 450mm lens on a 2"...

I use a Gitzo cf G1325 tripod with manfrotto long lens support. If I have the back rail on I use another support on it.

Let me understand. You developed 2 120 rolls of film first and then re-used the same developer for the 4x10 film?
Perhaps the developer was already exhausted from the 120 rolls?
Best, Terry.
Real Rittreck boards have a milled out area top and bottom. This makes it easier to fasten them in. Does yours have these? My Rittreck operates like yours.

Carol announced on Facebook today that they would be closed for a few weeks.

I shoot down there every year but only in the winter and only black and white. A single scene can easily contain pure black shadows to very light objects. It's going to be very hot there although...
Daniel Stone is making something similar. https://www.stonephotogear.com
I use the Paterson film clips with the two sharp points that poke a hole in the film.. I only use one of the points in the corner and the negative hangs diagonally. I put the clip on right before it...
I use a 20x20 model of this same bag for my 11x14. Works great. The body of the case holds the camera,
a couple of lenses and the dark cloth. There is an outside zippered pocket that holds two film...
I met Clyde Butcher in his Big Cypress Gallery. He was very kind, interesting and encouraged me in my view camera work. Visit if you can!

You are so right. This is a beautiful camera in about 90% condition. Built around 1903-06. I will attempt to cut the corners of the glass. Jose's idea of using a Dremel sounds good to me. I never had...
I bought a new old Century View camera from a private Party. When packaging it up he broke the ground glass. He shipped it anyway and ordered a new glass for me. Both arrived today. The new glass is...
What Peter said. I moved mine from Chicago to Kalamazoo, 150 miles, in the back of my Dodge caravan. Only removed the head and safely stored it by itself. Unless you have a cap on your pickup I...
If you're still looking B&H has some Delta 100 in stock.

What about Weegee???
Very interesting. I had no idea of the Packard shutter history in my town, Kalamazoo!

The early Fujinon 210mm W or WS models have 352 IC. These are the ones with the writing on the inside of the lens barrel not the outside. They are suprisingly inexpensive.
