    Re: post your Architecture photographs!

It's been quite awhile since I've posted anything. Going thru some of my older 4x5 images recently (1980s) and thinking about getting the camera out again this summer. I used to shoot a lot of...
  3. Re: How much does the scan take away from the Negative?

If he is true to his principles, Steve (Sirius Glass) never prints, he only looks at negatives and transparencies.....otherwise, some "information is lost".

Come to think of it.....I doubt that...

Great idea Jim. Sorry I missed out on this one.....I need to check in here more frequently.

I'd like to be on a "waiting list", if anyone needs to drop out for some reason.

Re: 2009/2010 Print Exchange Call for Entries !!!

Thanks for the clarification Darr. I will make 11x14 prints of what I think is the best 4x5 B&W image I've ever made (from the mid-80s). Unfortunately, image making wise, it's been all downhill...

Re: Graphic View Modified for Wide Angle Lens

Looks great! I have two of these cameras....might have to convert one to wide-angle use. Ditto to Jay's question re how you attached the rail to the mounting block.

    Re: Lubrication for Sinar P?

I tried a small amount of the Abu Garcia Reel Lube (silicone grease) with a small artist's brush on the front standard focus parts (white plastic rails etc). The focus had been stiff, but smooth. ...

    Re: Lubrication for Sinar P?

I wonder if something like the Abu Garcia Reel Lube (silicone grease with PTFE) would be safe to use. It's used to lubricate the gears of fishing reels, many of which include white plastic gear...

    Hi folks,

I just purchased and received the Sinar P (4x5) which Robert Fisher sold here in May to another forum member. The camera is indeed in beautiful condition, just as Robert and Don said. ...

    Nikkor-M 300mm f9?
